Insights & Analytics
ZS's Insights & Analytics group partners with clients to design and deliver solutions to help them tackle a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. Our recommendations and solutions are based on rigorous research and analysis underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership.
What You'll Do

• Apply advanced statistical and bioinformatics methods to analyze clinical, RWE (real-world evidence), and biological data for pharma clients.
• Support drug development strategy through data integration, statistical modeling, and patient subpopulation identification (e.g., response prediction, patient selection).
• Write and execute SAS programs, create relevant SDTM/ADaM datasets, and perform data harmonization and standardization across sources.
• Translate complex statistical outputs into actionable insights for client strategy discussions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with both technical and consulting teams, serving as a bridge between analytics and business needs

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's or master's degree required in any discipline with strong record of academic success in quantitative and analytic coursework such as operations research, applied mathematics, management science, data science, statistics, econometrics or engineering.
• 3-4 years of relevant post-collegiate job experience. A PhD may substitute in lieu of work experience.
• Strong biostatistics background, with experience as a statistical programmer or analyst using SAS, R, and/or Python.
• Familiarity with clinical trial data standards (e.g., CDISC, SDTM) and biological/RWE datasets used for reuse in clinical analytics.
• Experience in data integration, modeling, or bioinformatics within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences setting.
• Ability to act as a client-facing consultant, communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and supporting project delivery.
• Experience with data harmonization, statistical modeling, and developing solutions for patient-level insights

Travel is a requirement at ZS for client facing ZSers; business needs of your project and client are the priority. While some projects may be local, all client-facing ZSers should be prepared to travel as needed.
