Enterprise AI is moving fast. Enterprise adoption isn't. phData is building the practice that closes that gap, and we need the leader to own it.

We’re seeking a Director of Advisory with a focus on AI Adoption & Change Management to drive enterprise-wide adoption of agentic AI, LLM-powered solutions, foundational data platforms, and modern analytics across our customer organizations. This is a senior, highly visible role sitting at the intersection of sales, delivery, and customer success — with direct impact on revenue, customer satisfaction, and our market positioning as we build and evolve intelligence platforms for customers.

If you have deep roots in AI, data, or analytics-driven transformation, this is the role for you.

Core Responsibilities

Go-to-Market & Sales Leadership

  • Lead pre-sales engagements, including discovery sessions, executive workshops, SOW scoping, and storytelling that connects services to measurable business outcomes
  • Own pipeline development for adoption and change offerings; build repeatable collateral, playbooks, and case studies
  • Define and refine the AI adoption and change management value proposition in partnership with Practice and Sales leadership
  • Influence pricing and packaging, balancing value, delivery feasibility, and margin

Delivery Oversight & Engagement Leadership

  • Serve as executive sponsor or engagement leader on key AI, LLM, and data adoption programs; own delivery quality, risk management, and business outcomes
  • Oversee change roadmaps, stakeholder analyses, communications strategies, enablement plans, and adoption KPIs; ensure AI initiatives are paired with the operating model and role changes needed to realize value
  • Coach project managers, change leads, and technical teams to unblock delivery, manage resistance, and protect timelines and scope

Customer Success & Account Growth

  • Own satisfaction, renewal, expansion, and referenceability for change and adoption engagements
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with executive client sponsors (CIO, CDO, CAO, CHRO, BU leaders), shaping multi-phase roadmaps from pilot to scale
  • Track adoption KPIs (usage, behavioral change, time-to-value, productivity lift, AI literacy) and drive voice-of-customer feedback into offerings and delivery methods

Thought Leadership, Practice Development & Internal Leadership

  • Create and sponsor thought leadership, frameworks, blueprints for agentic AI and LLM adoption, and reusable assets (diagnostic tools, maturity models, training curricula, stakeholder playbooks)
  • Mentor and develop a bench of change management practitioners; define long-term talent strategy for the capability
  • Contribute to practice strategy, annual planning, and delivery methodology governance; champion a "run on AI / deliver with AI" culture

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in management consulting or advisory, with deep exposure to enterprise transformation programs
  • 7+ years leading organizational change management for technology transformations — including AI/ML, data platforms, cloud migrations, digital product rollouts, and operating model change
  • Hands-on experience driving adoption of Claude and other AI, LLM, or advanced analytics solutions (e.g., AI copilots, agentic workflows, recommendation engines, self-service analytics)
  • Proven track record owning or heavily influencing sales: discovery, solution shaping, executive proposals, and closing large consulting deals
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee complex, multi-workstream programs as engagement leader, balancing delivery quality, scope, and financial performance
  • Deep familiarity with change management frameworks (Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, ACMP) and experience tailoring them to AI & data contexts
  • Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills — able to translate technical complexity into clear business narratives for diverse personas
  • Strong stakeholder management and influence skills, including navigating resistance, aligning sponsors, and facilitating decisions across business and technology
  • Fluency in agentic AI architectures, LLM platforms, and modern data and AI stacks (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, cloud providers, vector databases)
