Compensation: $90-140k (based on experience)

Role SummaryWe are seeking a Director of Commercial Operations poised to make a significant impact. This role demands a visionary leader competent in multi-faceted operational planning who can efficiently run our commercial operations division

What You'll Do:

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Liaise with senior leadership to set strategic goals and make decisions for operational activities. 
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth and effective workflow. 
  • Lead and manage a diverse team, including administrative staff, remote workforce, and assistant project managers/superintendents, providing constructive feedback and ensuring procedure adherence. 
  • Evaluate the efficacy of business procedures and implement improvements in line with organizational objectives. 
  • Oversee procurement processes and manage material and resource allocation. 
  • Conduct financial reviews and adjust operational budgets to maximize profitability. 
  • Formulate or revise company policies and promote their effective implementation. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors. 
  • Constantly refine customer support processes to optimize customer satisfaction. 
  • Ensure timely and budget-conscious completion of projects. 
  • Analyze and interpret performance data and metrics for ongoing improvement. 
  • Invest in growing our labor force, the company's most valuable asset. 
  • Ensure organizational compliance with legal and industry standards.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or equivalent role. 
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills. 
  • Strong communication and people skills. 
  • Proficiency in business functions and principles, including supply chain, finance, and customer service. 
  • Familiarity with data analysis and performance/operation metrics. 
  • Technical proficiency in MS Office and various business software (ERP, CRM). 
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
