This is a hands-on leadership role where you will partner closely with Product and Engineering to iterate rapidly, leveraging predictive analytics to turn student data into actionable outcomes.

In order to be successful, this person will:

  • Design and scale our ingestion pipelines and reporting warehouse to support a rapidly growing user base.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to prototype and deploy data features into the Rang app iteratively.
  • Implement predictive analytics models to identify student trends to power the platform with early-intervention insights.
  • Deliver high-impact data visualizations for the Rang app, providing clear value to students, school administrators, and district leaders.
  • Build the internal analytics framework that enables our team to measure platform efficacy and drive business decisions.

  • A builder mindset with the ability to move from architectural planning to active development without friction.
  • Expert-level SQL/Python and experience with predictive modeling/data science to forecast student behavior and attendance trends.
  • Strong experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams to integrate data products into a core application.
  • A desire to use data to improve student outcomes and simplify the lives of educators.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative mindset.
