Job Summary

The Director of Enterprise National Accounts is responsible for directing, motivating, and maintaining a dedicated and professional Account Management team. The role is accountable for ensuring the team meets or exceeds established retention, client satisfaction, and profitability goals while delivering exceptional service to assigned accounts. The incumbent must demonstrate the ability and willingness to travel as business needs require.
The team is exclusively dedicated to supporting a single, highly complex national account, requiring strategic leadership, executive-level client engagement, and a strong focus on driving long-term business outcomes and client retention.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or four years of experience in managed care sales and/or managed care account management.
  • Current, valid State Insurance Agent License.
  • Eight years of experience selling group health managed care products and managing or servicing managed care accounts, including major and national accounts.
  • One year of management experience within the national or enterprise market in sales or account management, or three years of management experience within the healthcare industry.
  • Experience managing a book of business with accountability for profitability and client retention.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including expertise in account management, marketing strategies, and sales planning.
  • Strong knowledge of managed care products, industry trends, operational processes, and market dynamics.
  • Experience managing complex group health managed care accounts and executive-level client relationships.
  • Proven coaching, mentoring, and team development skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as business needs require.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to assess customer needs, solve problems, and make sound business decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, sales, financial, and strategic planning skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, lead teams, negotiate effectively, and communicate professionally with clients and senior leadership.
  • Experience overseeing annual budget development, resource allocation, and operational planning.
  • Ability to translate business needs and strategic initiatives into compelling business cases and actionable plans.
  • Experience conducting cost-benefit analyses and evaluating investments to drive business value and return on investment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience leading teams supporting large national or enterprise-level clients.
  • Demonstrated success driving profitable growth, client retention, and strategic account expansion within the healthcare industry.
  • Experience developing high-performing teams and building leadership pipelines through coaching and succession planning.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Flex employees are expected to be in the office a minimum of three days a week. Management will have discretion to modify an employee's weekly schedule for exigent circumstances.

Base Pay Range$131,000.00 - $196,500.00

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
