Job Summary

This position is responsible for leading, motivating, and developing a dedicated, high-performing Account Management team. The role is accountable for ensuring the team meets or exceeds established retention, profitability, growth, and client satisfaction objectives while delivering exceptional service to assigned accounts. The incumbent will provide strategic leadership, foster strong client relationships, and drive business results through effective account management practices.
The position requires the ability and willingness to travel as business needs dictate.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or four years of experience selling managed care products and/or managing managed care accounts.
  • Current, valid State Insurance Agent License.
  • Eight years of experience in the sale of group health managed care products and managed care account management or servicing, including major and national accounts.
  • One year of management experience within the national or enterprise market in sales or account management, or three years of management experience within the healthcare industry.
  • Experience managing a book of business with accountability for profitability and client retention.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including expertise in marketing, account management, and sales strategy development.
  • Strong knowledge of managed care products, processes, industry trends, and market dynamics.
  • Experience managing complex group health managed care accounts.
  • Proven coaching, mentoring, and talent development skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as business needs require.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to address customer needs effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, sales, financial, and business acumen skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead teams, negotiate effectively, build internal and external relationships, and prepare professional business communications.
  • Experience overseeing annual budgets and allocating resources across projects and operational priorities.
  • Ability to translate business needs and strategic initiatives into compelling business cases.
  • Experience conducting cost-benefit analyses to evaluate investments and ensure return on investment (ROI).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Flex employees are expected to be in the office a minimum of three days a week. Management will have discretion to modify an employee's weekly schedule for exigent circumstances.

Base Pay Range$131,000.00 - $196,500.00

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
