The Director High Voltage is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize High Voltage solutions and ensure efficient and effective operation.This role is fully remote. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop and execute the company’s High Voltage strategy in alignment with overall business goals and objectives
Identify market opportunities for High Voltage deployment, including utility-scale projects, commercial and industrial applications.
Collaborate with engineering, operations and finance teams to develop cost effective High Voltage solutions and business models.
Oversee the design, construction and commissioning of High Voltage projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.
Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and partners to secure the necessary resources and expertise for High Voltage initiatives.
Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of High Voltage professional, fostering a culture of safety, innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Represent the company at client meetings, conferences and regulatory proceedings related to High Voltage.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
Minimum 8 to10 years of work related experience in design and/or construction of High Voltage and substation projects
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable insights
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others under all situations
Ability to work, analyze, troubleshoot and prioritize problems independently
Flexible schedule due to client and project locations
Effective written and verbal English communication skills
Proficiency and knowledgeable in office practices, procedures and equipment
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and coordinate
Ability to travel as needed
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:
Requires frequent stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, and lifting 20 or more lbs
Constant finger dexterity and ability to see details at close range and at a distance, hear, talk, and possess depth perception
Occasional climbing and carrying, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working in high exposed places
Occasional exposure to environmental conditions
