Position Summary:

The Director of Marketing, Americas, is responsible for leading all downstream marketing and market development activities across the region. This role is critical to driving adoption of INSIGHTEC’s groundbreaking focused ultrasound technology through strategic marketing, program execution, and cross-functional leadership. With a strong focus on patient and provider education support, this role oversees a dynamic team.

This individual will develop and execute marketing strategies that accelerate regional adoption, deepen market penetration, and elevate brand awareness while optimizing operational workflows within hospital programs. The role requires a seasoned marketing leader with a passion for innovation, strong team leadership, and a hands-on approach to executing campaigns that change lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing & Program Leadership

  • Develop and lead regional marketing strategies to support product adoption, drive lead generation, and engage both patients and providers across the Americas.
  • Align regional execution with global marketing strategies and upstream product development priorities.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer to influence messaging, educational content, and product roadmaps.

Team Management & Development

  • Directly manage three Market Development Managers and one Marketing Manager.
  • Provide mentorship, performance coaching, and professional development to support a high-performing, cross-functional team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Sales, Clinical, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs teams to ensure marketing alignment and support program growth.
  • Partner with hospital administrators and Key Opinion Leaders to develop and execute localized awareness and referral-building campaigns.

Market Development & Demand Generation

  • Own and refine INSIGHTEC’s Four Pillars of Market Development
  • Design and lead high-impact educational webinars, awareness campaigns, and field programs to increase utilization.

Operational Excellence

  • Guide Program Engagement strategy to optimize the patient experience from initial inquiry through post-treatment follow-up.
  • Track and report key metrics related to funnel health, conversion rates, and program capacity to guide strategic decisions.
  • Ensure consistent execution of best practices across programs and identify opportunities to remove bottlenecks.

Event & Conference Oversight

  • Lead INSIGHTEC’s participation in regional trade shows, scientific conferences, and awareness events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support speaking engagements, physician roundtables, and other community-based education efforts.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of commercial experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, including direct experience in downstream marketing and field-based roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and drive measurable outcomes across a matrixed organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on ability to implement effective programs that drive growth and improve the patient journey.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and people development skills.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare and hospital operations.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Welkin).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
