Overview of the role
Join Medstreaming, a Harris Computer company, as a driven and strategic Director of Sales & Business Development and take the lead in driving our sales growth across North America. This is a unique opportunity for a leader who is also a hands-on sales professional, thriving on prospecting, building pipelines, and closing new business to expand our market share.


Reporting to the Senior Vice President, you will be responsible for developing and executing impactful sales strategies, acquiring new customers, and managing key relationships within the healthcare IT space. If you have a passion for healthcare technology and a proven ability to lead sales functions to success, we want to hear from you. The candidate will be expected to have or develop a strong understanding of vascular and cardiovascular workflows, reporting solutions, PACS, and healthcare IT environments.

What your impact will be:

  • Sales Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Lead in-depth market analysis to build the business case for optimizing existing solutions and creating next-generation products.
    - You will collaborate closely with R&D, Product, and Marketing teams to define and launch effective cross-functional go-to-market initiatives.
  • Business Development & New Customer Acquisition: Personally identify, prospect, and cultivate a robust pipeline of new business opportunities within healthcare organizations, physician groups, and hospital systems.
    - Apply your broad knowledge of our product capabilities and the competitive landscape to identify new growth areas and emerging opportunities.
  • Opportunity & Account Management: Lead complex sales cycles from initial engagement through contract execution. Gather and analyze critical market data and customer feedback to make strategic recommendations to the portfolio team.
    - You will ensure the integrity of proposals and contracts while effectively communicating Medstreaming's value proposition to executive, clinical, and technical audiences.
  • Performance & Growth: Provide regular, insightful forecasts and reports to executive leadership, using market intelligence to highlight strategic initiatives and opportunities for market share expansion.
    - Establish and monitor sales territories, quotas, and performance metrics to drive year-over-year revenue growth.
  • Customer & Team Leadership: Nurture strong, lasting relationships with new and existing customers, strategic partners, and industry associations.
    - Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus, contributing to the overall business strategy and mentoring future sales team members.

Salary Range:
$80 - 110K, eligible for commission.


What we look for (requirements):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 3+ years of successful software sales experience, ideally within the healthcare IT sector.
  • A proven track record in Leadership roles achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, prospecting, and new account acquisition.
  • Experience selling complex solutions into hospitals, health systems, or ambulatory practices.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.

What would make you stand out (preferred):

  • Deep understanding of vascular and cardiovascular clinical workflows.
  • Previous Leadership experience with reporting solutions, PACS, or other healthcare IT environments.
  • Existing relationships within the cardiovascular/vascular healthcare community.

Travel Requirements:
-Willingness to travel up to 30% annually throughout North America
