The Role

The Director, Wholesale Growth is responsible for owning and scaling Zippy’s partner-driven revenue engine across the wholesale/broker channels. This role leads the end-to-end growth strategy, overseeing channel performance, market expansion, partner acquisition and activation, and ongoing revenue optimization.

The Director, Wholesale Growth is accountable for delivering company revenue targets through Zippy’s partnerships ecosystem.

This role requires a rare combination of strategic thinking, operational rigor, and commercial execution - building the systems, teams, and playbooks that enable Zippy to scale efficiently while maintaining strong partner performance and experience.

What You’ll Do

Own Revenue Strategy & Outcomes

  • Set and own the overarching growth strategy across wholesale/broker channels.

  • Hold channel leaders accountable for delivering revenue targets, market share growth, and partner performance.

  • Continuously evaluate performance and adjust strategy, resourcing, and priorities to maximize results.

Establish Operating Rigor & Performance Management

  • Define the core metrics, reporting standards, and operating cadence across the growth organization.

  • Ensure team builds and maintains the reporting, dashboards, and insights needed to manage the channel effectively.

  • Drive a culture of accountability through consistent performance reviews and data-driven decision-making.

Ensure Scalable Systems & Playbooks

  • Set expectations for how playbooks, processes, and best practices are developed and implemented across both channels.

  • Ensure channel leaders are building scalable onboarding, activation, and account management frameworks.

  • Identify gaps in execution and ensure the right systems or processes are put in place to support growth.

Guide Market Expansion & Resource Allocation

  • Define where and how Zippy expands, including market prioritization, partner strategy, and channel mix.

  • Ensure expansion plans are grounded in clear assumptions around headcount, budget, loan volume, and risk.

  • Align internal stakeholders to ensure markets are operationally and strategically ready.

Executive Alignment & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the wholesale/broker organization and executive leadership.

  • Ensure alignment between Growth, Product, , Originations, and Capital Markets to remove blockers and support scale.

  • Elevate key risks, opportunities, and strategic decisions to the leadership team.

Partner Ecosystem Oversight

  • Maintain visibility into top partners and overall ecosystem health across both channels.

  • Support high-impact relationships and step in when executive engagement is required.

  • Ensure consistent standards for partner performance, experience, and long-term value.

What You’ll Need
  • Experience owning or directly influencing revenue performance in a high-growth environment.

  • Proven ability to lead leaders and scale teams through multiple layers of management.

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into clear direction and execution.

  • Experience establishing metrics, operating cadence, and accountability frameworks across teams.

  • Ability to identify gaps in systems, processes, or talent and address them effectively.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to align teams around shared goals.

  • High business judgment with a clear understanding of tradeoffs between growth, risk, and efficiency.

  • Executive presence and experience working closely with senior leadership.
