In this role, you’ll transform campaign concepts into polished, on-brand email experiences by combining strong visual design, persuasive copywriting, and email-marketing expertise.
You’ll collaborate with creative leads, marketers, and program stakeholders throughout concept development, design, feedback, production, and launch. This role is ideal for a hands-on creative marketer who thinks visually, works fluently in Figma, and understands how design and messaging influence customer engagement.
What You'll Do
- Design polished, responsive, and user-friendly B2C email campaigns using Figma or a comparable design platform.
- Translate campaign briefs, brand direction, and customer needs into compelling visual concepts.
- Support the complete creative process from intake and concept development through revisions, approval, and launch.
- Write and refine subject lines, headlines, body copy, calls to action, and other email content.
- Proofread campaign materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, appropriate tone, and flawless grammar.
- Apply email-marketing best practices related to layout, visual hierarchy, readability, accessibility, and responsiveness.
- Ensure email designs can be successfully implemented and delivered through the organization’s email platform.
- Partner with creative leads and marketing stakeholders to align designs with campaign goals and brand standards.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback while maintaining creative quality and usability.
- Document creative rationale, design decisions, feedback, and iterative improvements.
- Manage timelines, review cycles, and deliverables across multiple concurrent campaigns.
- Review campaign-performance data and apply relevant insights to future creative work.
- Present concepts and clearly explain design and messaging choices.
- Identify opportunities to improve templates, workflows, and creative consistency.
What You'll Bring
- Five to seven years of experience in email marketing, digital design, integrated marketing, advertising, or a related creative discipline.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma or a comparable UI/UX or digital-design platform.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience designing B2C email campaigns.
- Strong understanding of email-marketing strategy and creative best practices.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to combine visual design and written content into a cohesive marketing experience.
- Experience supporting the creative lifecycle from briefing and concept development through production and launch.
- Strong understanding of brand standards and user-centered design principles.
- Experience managing multiple campaigns or creative deliverables simultaneously.
- Strong project-management, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to document and communicate creative rationale and design decisions.
- Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to use performance data and customer insights to improve creative execution.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work with limited supervision.
- A portfolio or relevant work samples demonstrating email design and marketing execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within an advertising agency, creative agency, or fast-paced marketing organization.
- Experience supporting large-scale consumer brands or global audiences.
- Familiarity with lifecycle marketing, CRM communications, or customer-journey campaigns.
- Knowledge of email accessibility and responsive-design considerations.
- Experience testing subject lines, messaging, layouts, or calls to action.
- Familiarity with email campaign metrics and creative optimization.
- Experience working in agile creative-development environments.
- Familiarity with ClickUp or another project-management platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional training.
