Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to focus on EverHealth platforms with a deep background in Medical Billing Systems and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). This role is for a technical leader who can bridge the gap between complex healthcare financial workflows and cutting-edge automation.

You will be responsible for architecting a modern testing ecosystem using Playwright, while integrating Generative AI to revolutionize how we validate claim lifecycles, clearinghouse integrations, and financial reconciliation. The ideal candidate doesn't just find bugs—they build intelligent systems to prevent them.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Billing Validation: Architect automated test suites covering the full billing lifecycle: patient eligibility, claim scrubbing, electronic remittance advice (ERA), and payment posting.
  • Modern Framework Architecture: Design and maintain a high-performance automation framework from the ground up using Playwright (TypeScript).
  • AI Strategy & Implementation: Lead the integration of Agentic AI workflows to automate test case generation, maintain self-healing scripts, and simulate complex payer-specific rejection scenarios.
  • RCM Data Integrity: Ensure 100% accuracy of financial data flow between front-end UI, backend APIs, and database layers using advanced SQL and API testing.
  • Continuous Innovation: Stay at the forefront of QA technology, transitioning traditional testing processes into autonomous, AI-augmented workflows to increase deployment velocity.

Required Technical Skills

  • Automation Mastery: Expert-level proficiency with Playwright. Proven experience building scalable, maintainable frameworks in a CI/CD environment.
  • AI & LLM Integration: Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor) or leveraging LLM APIs (Anthropic/OpenAI) to optimize the software testing lifecycle.
  • Backend Validation: Strong SQL skills for complex data verification and experience with RESTful API testing (Playwright API RequestContext or Postman).
  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Familiarity with executing automation at scale within cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–7 years in a professional QA Automation role, specifically within the healthcare or fintech sectors.
  • Leadership: A track record of taking ownership of quality for a product vertical and mentoring peers on automation best practices.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to deconstruct complex financial business logic into robust, automated verification points.
  • Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.
