The Role

We are looking for a Director of Executive Communications to build and own the public voice of AlphaSense’s Founder & CEO and select senior leaders including our CRO. This is not a PR role. It is not an internal communications role. It is a strategic content and positioning role for someone who thinks in narratives and knows how to make executives genuinely influential online and on stage.

The center of gravity for this role is LinkedIn – building executive presence through consistent, high-quality thought leadership content that earns attention, drives conversation, and reflects the intellectual authority AlphaSense has in the AI and market intelligence space. Beyond LinkedIn, you will shape how our executives show up at major industry events, in long-form writing, and in high-stakes moments like product launches.

You will report to the VP of Global Communications and work directly with executive leadership. This is a highly visible, high-trust role that requires both creative range and executive judgment.

What You’ll Do

Executive LinkedIn & Social Thought Leadership

  • Own the LinkedIn strategy and content calendar for the CEO and select executives, publishing consistently on topics at the intersection of AI, market intelligence, finance, and enterprise technology.
  • Develop a distinctive, authentic voice for each executive – content that sounds like them, not like a press release.
  • Write and edit all executive posts, threads, and long-form LinkedIn articles, balancing timely takes on industry news with evergreen positioning content.
  • Analyze post performance and audience engagement to continuously refine what topics, formats, and cadences drive the most meaningful reach.
  • Stay ahead of what's happening in AI, fintech, and enterprise software so executive content is timely, credible, and differentiated.

Executive Positioning & Narrative

  • Build and maintain a core narrative framework for each executive – their point of view, signature topics, and the ideas they want to be known for.
  • Translate AlphaSense's business strategy, product evolution, and market position into clear executive storylines that work across audiences: customers, prospects, and talent.
  • Develop and refresh executive bios, speaking pitches, and positioning materials that reflect current momentum and priorities.

Speaking & Long-Form Content

  • Develop keynote presentations, conference talks, and panel content for major industry events.
  • Write op-eds and bylined articles for placement in top-tier business and technology publications, working with communications and PR partners on distribution.
  • Prepare executives with structured briefing documents, talking points, and messaging guidance ahead of speaking engagements and major customer events.

High-Stakes Moments

  • Lead executive communications for major company milestones – acquisitions, product launches, and leadership announcements – ensuring the narrative is coherent, compelling, and well-timed across channels

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in executive communications, digital content strategy, or a related field, with a meaningful portion of that time spent on social media and executive voice building.
  • A portfolio of LinkedIn content or executive ghostwriting that demonstrates range: you can write a sharp, punchy take and a thoughtful long-form piece with equal facility.
  • Direct experience working with CEOs or C-suite executives in a high-growth technology or financial services company. You know how to build trust, extract authentic voice, and counsel under pressure.
  • Deep understanding of LinkedIn as a platform – how the algorithm works, what drives engagement, how to build an audience over time, and how to measure what matters.
  • Strong command of the AI, B2B SaaS, or fintech landscape. You follow the companies, thinkers, and conversations that shape these industries.
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas without losing substance. Our executives speak to sophisticated audiences – investors, analysts, enterprise buyers – and the content must hold up to scrutiny.
  • Comfort operating at pace in a high-growth environment where priorities shift and turnaround times are tight.
  • Experience placing executive bylines or thought leadership content in major publications is a strong plus.
  • Experience with investor communications or financial narratives is a plus.

For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below.

You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.
