  • Spend Governance: Collaborate with procurement and platform teams to manage vendor commitments, contract utilization, and budget adherence.
  • Cost Attribution: Develop and maintain models to ensure technology expenses are accurately allocated to the appropriate departments or product lines.
  • Variance Analysis: Monitor monthly spending trends and anomalies, providing actionable insights to technical stakeholders to maintain budget discipline.

AI & Technology Investments

  • Investment Analysis: Develop financial models to evaluate the ROI on third-party AI tools and assess the margin profiles of technology-driven products.
  • Pricing & Monetization: Support product management in establishing pricing strategies for software features and consumption-based products.
  • Usage Governance: Track and monitor spend for AI and software tools, implementing internal controls to manage consumption-based or usage-based costs.
  • Performance Tracking: Maintain consolidated reporting on the costs and realized savings of strategic technology initiatives, comparing actual performance against the original business case.

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing technology, engineering, or cloud infrastructure budgets.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical cloud concepts into financial impacts for non-technical leadership
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills with a formidable attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively to drive cross-functional execution on business goals
