Position Summary

The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis is a strategic thought-partner and is responsible for building and ensuring critical support to the senior leadership. The Manager will focus on creating/building financials tools, reporting mechanisms, business modeling, and financial planning processes (budgeting and forecasting) that will effectively scale with our growth. 

What will your job entail?

Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the annual financial planning process and reforecasting process. This includes the reforecasts of P&Ls, headcount, and strategic initiatives.
• Provides an assessment of the financial health of the company by analyzing historical data, identifying trends, and projecting future financial performance.

  • Reviews monthly financial results to identify variances versus budget and partners cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery of accurate results. Ability to identify trends and implement actions to improve future results.
    • Driving ongoing process improvements to increase overall quality and efficiency of analysis which includes proactive modeling and analysis tools.
    • Provide technical expertise and advice on financial issues to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.
    • Participate, as needed, in strategic planning sessions and help analyze relevant strategic initiatives. Regularly measure performance against strategic plan goals.
    • Coordinates, prioritizes, and reviews program budgets and grant opportunities to ensure profitability of programs/services or business opportunities being considered.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor financial analysts

Work Experience and Education:
• BA/BS Business Administration, Economics, Finance, and/or other related fields.
• 6+ years' experience in financial analysis and business planning.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Experience with financial statement analysis, a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts and a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP

The target salary range for this position is $116,000.00 - $145,000.00 annually.

The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
