Provides gatehouse and front desk security support on a residential community campus. Logs and verifies guests, visitors, vendors, and contractors; directs campus traffic; and records security staff activities, patrols, and emergency calls. The role requires customer service skills, effective English communication, basic arithmetic, computer familiarity, and Microsoft Office knowledge. Previous customer service experience is required, while security experience is preferred.

Schedule & Hours: Friday and Saturday Nights, 10:45 PM - 6:45 AM (15 hours/week)
Shift Differential: $0.50 per hour

We are looking for a hospitality-focused Front Desk Officer to join our team! This position is responsible for verifying and documenting the scheduled presence of all guests, visitors, vendors and third-party contractors entering the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist residents, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date gatehouse logs.
- Operate and monitor the gatehouse remotely through Axis controls.
- Dispatch Security personnel as needed in response to emergency calls.
- Support emergency communication and established safety procedures.
- Monitor and respond to access-control and gatehouse-related issues.
- Provide information and assistance to residents, visitors, and vendors as needed.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous customer service experience required. Previous security experience preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Familiarity with basic computer systems and Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
