Why This Role Matters
We are introducing an innovative go-to-market approach by establishing a dedicated "Landed" Global Account Manager.
In this role, you will be the dedicated US presence for 5-6 highly strategic, name-brand global accounts headquartered in EMEA. Rather than having a single Global Account Manager stretched across the globe, you will act as a critical extension of the EMEA global accounts team, specifically covering their US footprint. This is a unique opportunity to pioneer a new revenue allocation model where you own the US-based revenue generation while collaborating on a unified global strategy.
How You Will Make an Impact
Execute Global Strategy Locally: Act as the dedicated US lead for your 5-6 accounts. You will have a dotted line to the primary EMEA GAMs, running the US assignment autonomously while strictly aligning with their overarching global direction and strategy.
Collaborate and Adapt: Thrive in a highly matrixed environment. You must have the intuition to know when to take the wheel and drive US-specific initiatives independently, and when to be an active collaborator supporting a broader global play.
Drive Targeted US Growth: Manage a dedicated US revenue allocation. You will own the end-to-end "land, adopt, consume, and grow" cycle for the US divisions of these enterprises.
Navigate Global Complexities: Leverage your deep appreciation and experience working within complex global accounts to manage decentralized business units, intricate procurement processes, and cross-border collaboration.
Cultivate Stakeholder Alliances: Build deep, trust-based relationships with US-based executives and stakeholders, ensuring seamless alignment between regional operations and the overarching global governance map.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: 5+ years of proven success in closing enterprise software sales.
Preferred Qualifications & Attributes:
Global Account Experience: Extensive experience supporting, managing, or co-managing highly complex, globally federated enterprises with multiple decentralized business units.
Collaborative Independence: A self-starter who excels in team environments; highly capable of acting autonomously in the US while remaining deeply connected and accountable to an EMEA-based global team.
Executive Gravitas: A successful track record of establishing immediate credibility with regional executives and navigating matrixed organizations without direct authority.
Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Observability, Security, and Cloud spaces (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) and the broader IT ecosystem in large global enterprises.
Matrix Master: Proven ability to influence and align virtual teams across different time zones, functions, and cultures.
Global Impact: Work with some of the largest, most influential financial institutions in the world.
Cutting-Edge Tech: Represent a platform recognized as an industry leader in observability, AIOps, and application security.
Growth Environment: We support career development, offering opportunities to scale up into higher-level executive sales roles based on your experience and achievements.
