Job Description

The Global Solutions Director takes the lead in defining, maintaining, and scaling Williams Lea's global go-to-market strategy, specifically spearheading the Front of House (FOH), concierge, reception, and workplace experience service line. Acting as the owner of the Value Proposition, this role bridges the gap for "white-glove" hospitality expertise paired with a tech-driven, visionary mindset to seamlessly integrate service components.

This position serves as a primary subject matter expert and strategic lead during new business engagements—from opportunity assessment and due diligence to pitching and closing high-touch enterprise accounts. Initial scope is an individual contributor role with a planned transition to managing a direct team as the service line scales.

Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas

Strategy, Growth & Solution Design

  • Value Proposition Ownership: Take full ownership of the development, education, and execution of the global value proposition for the Front of House & Workplace Experience service line.

  • Enterprise Solutioning: Lead the overall solution design for new business opportunities from initial assessment through due diligence, commercial proposals, and closing.

  • Tech-Driven Innovation: Pair white-glove hospitality capabilities with platform-savvy technologies (e.g., conference room booking, visitor management platforms). Collaborate with Technology teams to enhance existing platforms and explore new technologies.

  • Target Market Expansion: Focus heavily on high-touch, high-end enterprise clients, particularly legal firms and financial institutions.

  • GTM & Toolkits: Create and maintain go-to-market strategies, sales/marketing materials, and best-practice toolkits.

Account Pursuit & Client Engagement

  • Pitch & Governance: Lead client pitches, C-level presentations, and executive steering with prospective and current clients.

  • Contract & Commercial Alignment: Understand and negotiate business positions within MSAs, SOWs, and LOIs alongside internal/external counsel and client stakeholders.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with field Operations Teams, Business Development, Account Directors, and Managing Directors across regions.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with external service partners, technology vendors, and software providers.

Operations & Best Practice Oversight

  • Implementation Governance: Provide oversight during account implementation so optimal solutions and best practices are deployed.

  • Continuous Improvement & Benchmarking: Maintain accurate operational benchmarking information and drive continuous improvement across client engagements.

  • Knowledge Management: Create and manage a comprehensive "Knowledge Book" detailing new business engagements, lessons learned, and reusable models.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of an undergraduate degree (Bachelor's degree) in a field related to the strategic service of focus (e.g., finance, accounting, legal, administration) or equivalent years of experience.

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience managing teams providing services in strategic service lines or sectors.

  • Consulting & Strategy: Demonstrated effectiveness in delivering strategic solutions, consulting, and translating strategy into operational delivery within complex environments.

  • Operational Expertise: Strong operations background with a deep perspective on strategic service offerings.

  • Commercial & Financial Acumen: Financially astute with proven ability to analyze requirements and implement advantageous cost recommendations across group accounts.

  • Contracting & Negotiation: Experience reviewing and negotiating legal documents including MSAs, SOWs, and LOIs.

  • Client Presentation & Communication: Superior client-facing communication skills; proven track record leading presentations to executive stakeholders and managing sensitive conversations.

  • Outsourcing & Project Management: Experience leading outsourcing projects to onshore or offshore models.

  • Matrix Leadership: Ability to manage, coach, and influence cross-functional/virtual teams at a senior and executive level.

  • Technical Skills: Appropriate technical foundation in designated area of expertise to contribute directly to solution design.

  • Software Proficiency: Computer literate with high proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Project, Visio).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Front of House & Hospitality Expertise: Deep experience in "white-glove" concierge, reception, event management, and workplace experience service delivery.

  • Vertical Expertise: Specific experience pitching to and winning enterprise accounts within high-touch target markets (Law Firms & Financial Institutions).

  • Workplace Tech Design: Hands-on experience designing solutions around workplace technologies and platforms (e.g., room reservation tools, visitor management software, workplace apps).

  • Enterprise Business Development: Proven track record of pitching, closing, and scaling multi-million dollar enterprise accounts.

  • Certifications: Certification in MS Project and/or Project Server preferred.
