Graphic Design & Illustration Intern

The Tyndale Design Team is looking for an intern with strong illustration and graphic design skills that can help us publish illustrated books, both for kids and adults. You’ll get an insider view of the publishing process and see how books are created by working with the design, acquisitions, marketing, typesetting, and production teams that help develop our illustrated books from start to finish. If you have a passion for illustration and want to see how you can put those skills to use in the “real world,” we’d love to show you a few paths for doing so. We’re looking for someone who loves illustration and has the graphic design chops to combine illustration and design to visually tell a story.

Along the way, you'll meet with various art directors, designers, and production artists to learn what makes the creatives on our team tick. You'll even get a chance to present your portfolio to our art directors and receive feedback that will prepare you to find a job when you graduate. And you'll do all of this in a Christian environment where we pray, encourage, and support one another every day.

  • Bring your illustration skills to the table, helping us brainstorm illustration concepts, develop creative direction, and prepare artwork for children’s and adult books.
  • Bring your design skills to the table, helping us design social media projects, Bible designs, and book covers.
  • Bring your desire to learn, collaborate, and help our creative team develop the strongest concepts for new products.
