About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Head of Sponsorships to define the future of how the company uses partnerships, sponsorships, and experiences to strengthen its brand, deepen stakeholder engagement, and advance business objectives. This executive will set the long-term vision and strategy for the function, assessing the current portfolio and defining a disciplined, portfolio-based approach focused on opportunities that can create meaningful value for the brand, clients, communities, and the business.
A central part of the mandate will be developing the strategic and investment case for the next generation of partnerships and sponsorships, connecting those investments directly to brand positioning, line-of-business priorities, and long-term reputation and business goals.
As a trusted advisor to the Head of Brand, Sponsorships & Integrated Marketing, the Head of Sponsorships will guide investment decisions, evaluate emerging opportunities, and establish the strategy, operating model, governance, and measurement necessary to build a best-in-class function.
The role has end-to-end accountability for partnership and sponsorship strategy, portfolio development, selection, management, measurement, and operations, with integrated activation across the enterprise. This role will also shape how the investment model evolves over time. Success requires a strategic marketer and business-case builder with deep sponsorship expertise who can balance innovation and brand ambition with operational rigor, measurable business impact, and reputational stewardship across a complex enterprise.

• Work with Brand, Marketing, Communications and lines of business so partnerships become a real expression of the brand.
