The Opportunity: Our Director, HR Business Partners (HRBP) is responsible for providing solutions, thought partnership and business talent strategies to senior leaders and their teams. We are looking for a passionate HR leader to communicate, implement and deliver key People programs, best practices and people solutions to our employees across the world. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for building relationships with each facet of the organization and supporting the business on all talent management and People activities. Your scope of activities will include providing expertise, guidance and coaching around people-cycle related topics and processes, employee engagement, performance management, and termination/redundancy processes. We need a leader who will serve as a key resource for our global teams through sensing, listening, providing mentorship. 

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end People support for employees and leaders. This includes, but is not limited to, facilitating manager training and brown bags relating to performance & talent management, support of strategic People projects such as organizational design & transformation, launching and adoption of annual People programs, and complex employee & labor relations cases.
  • Develop partnerships with People COE’s (e.g. Total Rewards, L&D, Recruiting, People Operations, Employee Experience) to propose integrated and effective HR solutions & process improvements that help enable a work environment conducive to building high performing teams.
  • Assessing regional organizational “health” & drive or initiate activities to improve morale and engagement across the global organization.
  • Finding opportunities to work & align with ERG groups to maximize the impact of HR initiatives, particularly in promoting an inclusive culture.
  • Analyzing attrition and assist in devising retention measures to help drive employee engagement activities.
  • Provide coaching to leaders to maintain a focus on talent engagement and retention through; development discussions, performance management, career / goal setting, onboarding and forecasted staffing.
  • Successfully integrate newly acquired staff and new hires into the business and ensure they have what they need to quickly ramp and provide value to the business.
  • Assist in M&A and company integration activities and help with change management initiatives.
  • Lead a global team of HR Business Partners and Managers who are located around the world.

Within 30 Days, You Will:

  • Build relationships with the Executive team, Department leaders and employees throughout the organization.
  • Get up to speed on People COE’s, talent management processes and systems
  • Learn the business, our products, and the legal industry
  • Spend time with your direct reports and People team members to ramp on People specific strategies such as employee engagement, employee experience, terminations, retention, diversity, and others.

Within 90 Days, You Will:

  • Building out engagement strategies and processes for teams
  • Using People systems and tools to support and drive performance with the organization
  • Starting to support the integrations of acquired companies
  • Driving a culture of engagement, rewards and recognition

Within 6 months, You Will:

  • Recommend new strategies and ways of working to better support your clients
  • Support performance management and review processes
  • Work with Finance on budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Work with outside counsel when needs arise

 About You:

  • You have demonstrated experience as HR Business Partner leader, preferably in a SaaS technology company
  • You have 8+ years of experience in HR Business Partner or similar roles
  • You have demonstrated experience working with executives and C-suite
  • You have experience in a high growth environment scaling from 500-2000+ employees
  • You have managed a globally dispersed workforce
  • You have PE and M&A experience
  • You have both strategic and deep operational experience across employee engagement, performance, rewards & recognition, talent management, etc.
  • You excel in rapidly changing environments and are able to operate autonomously
  • You are data-oriented with strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
  • You are data driven
  • You keep yourself up to date on new local and global compliance regulations along with HR best practices
  • You are a collaborative team pleayer with a proven ability to roll up your sleeves and get dirty
  • A strong desire to keep learning new things!
