Ahead of a period of planned, substantive growth, we are thrilled to welcome an exceptional Benefits & Wellness Manager to shape the practice at Cribl. A successful candidate will strike a balance between strategic operator and hands-on executer, authoring the core philosophy on benefits and wellness at Cribl while aligning the programs to bring these to life. Through your leadership, you will successfully evolve offerings from a foundational, PEO-based approach to a compelling brokerage partnership, apply market benchmarks and creative insights to craft values-aligned solutions, establish a foundation for enterprise-grade infrastructure, and drive people programs and processes at scale. As a core member of the People Team, you will help to prime a remote-first talent strategy, design and deploy strategic people initiatives, and evolve equitable engagement programs to attract, onboard, and enable the people who power Cribl. 

Reporting directly to the Head of Total Rewards & People Operations and based anywhere within the United States or Canada, this role is critical to the success of the business as Cribl scales. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the development and implementation of our global benefits, wellness, and leave philosophy, from design to execution, iterating with key organizational inflectional points.  
  • Contribute to the strategy of the global rewards function on an overall basis and as a key member of the Global Total Rewards leadership team.
  • Provide leadership to cross-functional initiatives that impact employee experience to ensure alignment with overall total rewards philosophy and growing our business in accordance to our business strategy.
  • Drive operational excellence and continued process improvement through the effective design, implementation, and administration of key people systems and technology.
  • Partner with the People Leadership team to define and develop innovative solutions in the areas of technology, service delivery, and analytics & insights.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7+ years of proven experience designing, scaling, and managing benefits, wellness, and leave of absence programs.
  • Experience supporting domestic benefits programs including regular analysis of market data and identification, selection, and management of brokers. 
  • Knowledge of total rewards policies & procedures with a demonstrated a track record of prioritizing, defining, developing, and rolling out scalable solutions that address the needs of the business.
  • Strong organization, interpersonal, and communication skills with demonstrated experience presenting to large groups, fellow leaders, and teammates of all levels.
  • Demonstrated practice of interpreting data and analytics, drawing upon insights, and leveraging established benchmarks/case studies to inform interventions. 
  • Deep understanding of relevant federal and state regulatory compliance, including ACA ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, HIPAA, and HSA. 

Bonus Points/Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience operating within a global, remote-first environment.
  • Previous experience administering international benefits programs with a focus on designing and delivering innovative and culturally aligned benefits across multiple countries.
