About this Role:
As we expand, we are looking for a team player to fill our new opening as an HR Generalist/Recruiter to help us recruit more smart, passionate, creative people to join our team. You’ll be setting up a proper HR function in a company so we’re in a good position to grow. Until now, the functions of this role have been shared by others in the company -- so we’ve not always been consistent or great at it. The ideal candidate will “strike the balance between process and practicality.”
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- All aspects of recruiting across every department, as the company adds another 10-20 roles in the coming year. You will be responsible for all aspects of sourcing, identifying, qualifying and scheduling candidates
- Benefits and payroll administration coordination with a Professional Employer Organization
- Employee onboarding and orientation to ensure everyone gets off to a great start
- Overseeing performance management process and best practices
- Protect and promote the company’s culture and values
- HR Compliance
A successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years Human Resources experience
- Recruiting experience across multiple departments and skill sets
- Love and respect for people
- Outgoing personality that will represent the company well
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Results-oriented practices
