Job Description

HR Generalist

The HR Generalist is an integral part of the Human Resources team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting project work and providing support to a client group across the US and Canada.


Responsibilities


  • Drive the onboarding process for new associates (collect and process new hire paperwork, conduct orientation sessions)

  • Drive the off-boarding process for separating associates (prep managers, conduct exit interviews, track turnover data/metrics)

  • Process and maintain organization and associate updates in HRIS systems, to ensure reporting structures/job titles/cost centers are correct and current

  • Generate a variety of reports as requested by HR, Finance, and other business leaders

  • Respond to general requests/inquiries from employees regarding benefits, payroll, etc.

  • Create and maintain org charts, org announcements, job descriptions and other similar documents

  • Assist with annual performance and incentive planning and review

  • Assist with the semi-annual Talent Review process

  • Drive other special projects where needed


Qualifications


  • 2-4 years of Human Resources experience

  • Proficiency in Google for Work/ Microsoft Office including Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) and Powerpoint

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Analyze large sets of data and effectively articulate findings and recommendations in an easy-to-understand way.

  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality

  • Strong execution skills

  • Results oriented

  • Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects

  • Self-starter, problem-solver, proactive
