Office Manager and People Operations Coordinator
SpotHero is searching for an energetic and detail-oriented Office Manager and People Operations Coordinator to efficiently manage our facility, support our recruiting and People Team initiatives and ensure a great workplace environment for all! You should be able to knock tasks off a list at the speed of light, and engage with people ranging from prospective candidates and employees as well as senior leadership and investors with ease. Your superpower is wanting to help others and you could teach a master class on organization and attention to detail because your ability to anticipate needs borders on supernatural.

What you'll do:
Office Operations:
- Facilities: Liaise with building management on all things facilities including: maintenance requests; renovations; and security - to name a few!
- Office Equipment and Supplies: Think 2 steps ahead of our team’s needs in order to keep the office fully stocked with supplies to ensure that the workplace remains productive.
- Team Lunches and Meal Planning: Organize weekly team lunches and ad-hoc meals. Own our relationship with our lunch vendor.
- Service Providers and Vendors: Handle and manage all accounts for services that are vital to the smooth operations.
- Mailings: Manage distribution of mail and packages and maintain relationship with preferred shipping provider.
- Reception: Professionally greet and situate all visitors, guests, and employees. Give a great first impression of SpotHero.
- Budget Awareness: Ensure spend is tracking to budget.
People Operations:
- Work with the People Team and our Hiring Managers to support our recruitment efforts.
- Efficiently and thoughtfully manage the schedules of candidates and interviewers with the goal of creating a positive candidate experience with every interaction.
- Conduct candidate reference checks and facilitate the background checks process.
- Set new hires up for success by coordinating onboarding process and ensuring equipment, systems, and desk needs are met prior to start dates. Conduct paperwork portion of onboarding process.
- Become a pro at navigating and managing one of the most advanced ATS systems.
- Participate in Community Building and Social Event Planning for the company. Plan, schedule, and ensure the success of all company social events - our culture is the most important part of our company!
- Various People Team projects teaming up with the Sr. Director of People and the Chief People Officer

Pre-Requisites:
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience. All majors welcome!
- 2-3 years of experience in an HR or Office Coordinator role
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
- Experience with third party applicant tracking systems a plus
- Proficiency with a Google environment and Microsoft applications.
- Eagerness to contribute to and learn in a startup environment
