Flexport is experiencing massive growth with 1,000+ Flexporters across 14 global offices and warehouses. And we’re just getting started. The Recruiting Programs team is focused on building the programs and operations - from strategy to execution - to support and fuel our exciting growth plans.

As our Recruiting Manager for the Supply Recruiting Team, you will deliver top talent and lead strategic searches for our Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL), Air Freight, Trucking, Warehousing and Pricing departments across the U.S, and mentor recruiters across the team. You’ll build on your comprehensive understanding of this complex industry to identify, source and assess profiles to build pipelines, and build strong partnerships with those internal supply team leads and teams.

You will:

  • Lead the Supply Chain recruiting team and run full recruiting cycle for a variety of positions including: Ocean Freight, LCL Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Trucking, Warehousing, and Pricing
  • Partner on G&A Recruiting as business needs demand
  • Proactively build talent pipelines through referral generation, online sourcing, D&I sourcing strategies and campaigns;
  • Track data to ensure you’re investing in sources with the highest ROI, analyze pass through rates and other metrics to manage pipelines
  • Regularly communicate information such as candidate pipelines, recruiting funnel metrics, and performance data to internal stakeholders
  • Partner closely with our Recruiting and Hiring Leaders to ensure we attract, assess, woo, and close the best of the best; develop strong relationships with Hiring Leaders to understand the needs of the business;
  • Conduct research to understand the competitive landscape and share findings with broader Supply Recruiting team;
  • Build trusted candidate relationships, drive offer approvals, extensions, and negotiations
  • Drive recruiting programs across the team in partnership with the Global Talent Programs team
  • Mentor and manager recruiters on the team

You should have:

  • BA/BS Degree with 5+ years of experience in recruiting and talent acquisition
  • A minimum of 2 years in recruiting and sourcing for Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics teams
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Experience in fast growing companies is a plus
  • Excellent relationship management with candidates, interviewers, and hiring managers and leaders
  • A desire to partner with heads of departments on external talent mapping, succession planning & headcount planning
  • Demonstrated experience in closing senior level hires and navigating complicated offer stages
  • A drive for results. You bring the drive to see processes through end-to-end and ensure you deliver top talent every time; data and metrics are a motivator
