Job Description
What You’ll Do
Administer and communicate compensation programs, policies and processes.
Complete market analysis and collaborate and act as the internal consultant to HR Consultants and Business leaders on all compensation-related issues.
Contribute to the development of compensation programs, policies and processes.
How You’ll Do It
Assist in the creation and maintenance of salary administration programs including salary structures, merit and promotional guidelines, and short term incentive.
Complete job evaluations, comprehensive market analysis and create accurate job descriptions aligned with best practices; Partner across the broader HR team and/or business leaders to assess market conditions in support of competitive job offers and make compensation recommendations.
Participate in the annual external salary survey data gathering and submission on behalf of Discover; Maintain job description library and serve as the owner of the organization’s salary survey database and make recommendations on job evaluation process, and methodology.
Lead the quarterly non-exempt focal review process and assist with the global year-end process, including system configuration, stakeholder training and communication, as well as data quality audit and miscellaneous analytics.
Responsible for the end-to-end review of current core-compensation programs and processes, compensation tools and guidelines and provide process improvement recommendations aimed at streamlining and simplifying current practices and administrative work.
Provide support on all compensation analytical needs including data audits, bonus accrual and pay equity. May lead data and analytical projects, as needed.
Provide support to the Compensation Consultants and may collaborate and act as the internal consultant to HR Consultants and business leadership on compensation-related issues, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
4+ years of experience in Compensation Administration or related field
Bonus Points If You Have
2+ years of experience in Compensation Analytics or related field
Certified Compensation Professional
