Senior Recruiter
The Role
Fusion is growing very quickly, and we are looking for a Recruiter to join our Chicago-based HR team. Fusion believes in hiring high-potential talent and providing opportunities for growth and development. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with managers to strategically meet their talent needs. You will lead them through the full recruiting cycle and engage in activities outside of the recruiting cycle to ensure that they are able to meet their talent needs. You will also help effectively set manager expectations around the talent marketplace, skill sets, and compensation levels for candidates.
Responsibilities
At Fusion, a successful Recruiter will:
- Lead the full cycle recruiting process – Sourcing, Screening, Interviewing, Managing Department Interviews, Negotiating and Offer, and Signing on a Candidate.
- Be an active strategic partner to hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and guide their strategy for meeting those needs
- Be extremely conscientious of the time requirements for all participants of the recruiting cycle – ensure that we are hiring effectively using the most efficient amount of the team's time
- Be a Subject Matter Expert on the candidate hiring market. Advise managers and set expectations in terms of expected time-to-fill, difficulty of finding candidates, candidate expected compensation and other relevant information
- Lead and participate in activities outside of the normal recruiting cycle – soft-recruiting passing candidates and building a bench, leading events, promoting thought-leadership exercises among hiring managers
- When appropriate, recommend creative sources (internal/external, potentially non-standard) for individual roles in order to attract the best talent
- Ensure that Job Descriptions for all open roles are designed to cast a broad, inclusive net to encourage applications from qualified candidates of all backgrounds
- Actively manage up to 6-10 open roles at any point in time, and fill up to 5-8 positions per month
- Actively manage Vista and Fusion KPIs (time to fill, etc.) relative to the requisitions you manage
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 3 - 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth SaaS environment
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System, including the Reporting function
- Experience scheduling at all levels of an organization, including executives
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to connect with and build relationships with hiring managers, subject matter experts, candidates, and industry leaders
- Ability to think of recruiting at a strategic level, developing strategies to fill key roles before the role is even open in some cases
- Self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
