Workplace Experience Coordinator

It’s with that in mind that Hireology is looking to add a dedicated Workplace Experience Coordinator to the People Team. This individual will play a key role in the reopening of our physical office space and will serve as the team’s go-to resource for all things workplace experience! Since a large majority of Hireologists work remotely, this person will also be tasked with developing relationships and a sense of community within the virtual “office”.
As the Workplace Experience Coordinator, you will autonomously supervise the day-to-day operations, facilities, and events that make our office an inspiring place to work. You will juggle multiple projects, advocate for the needs of your office, and be willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in wherever needed.
This is a full-time role based in Chicago and reports to the People Programs Manager.
As our Workplace Experience Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for:
Overseeing our physical office space to ensure everything from the kitchen to the conference rooms are in optimal working order.
Ensuring the office is fully stocked at all times. This includes managing deliveries, stocking food/beverages, and replenishing office supplies.
Running the front desk; answering the phone, touring guests, maintaining various calendars, and handling employee/guest/vendor inquiries.
Serving as Hireology’s office expert. Working with building management and supporting our IT Team whenever needed.
Executing both physical and virtual events that engage all employees and promote our culture.
Jumping in to support all members of the People Team when needed; including new hire onboarding, interview scheduling, and miscellaneous administrative tasks.

Willing to tackle any job: You have to be willing to own the small tasks (emptying the dishwasher, restocking inventory, office space cleanup, etc.) while understanding the impact these tasks contribute to Hireology
Obsessed with details: With so much going on, you need to be hyper-focused on the details and extremely organized to ensure that our office functions efficiently and nothing slips through the cracks
Service-oriented builder of relationships: You’re serving nearly 165 employees on a daily basis, and providing excellent “No Assholes” service is required
Strong communicator: You’ll be working with internal and external stakeholders, it is imperative that you are a strong and effective communicator
Comfortable dealing with technology: In this role, you’ll often be looked to help set up a conference call or troubleshoot technical issues. Experience in Zoom and Gsuite is a plus.
