Hireology’s technology empowers businesses to build great teams. Over the last ten years, we’ve grown from a startup to a market-leading organization with over 165 team members and we’ve created an award-winning culture that makes this company an amazing place to work.

It’s with that in mind that Hireology is looking to add a dedicated Workplace Experience Coordinator to the People Team. This individual will play a key role in the reopening of our physical office space and will serve as the team’s go-to resource for all things workplace experience! Since a large majority of Hireologists work remotely, this person will also be tasked with developing relationships and a sense of community within the virtual “office”.

As the  Workplace Experience Coordinator, you will autonomously supervise the day-to-day operations, facilities, and events that make our office an inspiring place to work. You will juggle multiple projects, advocate for the needs of your office, and be willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in wherever needed.

This is a full-time role based in Chicago and reports to the People Programs Manager.

As our Workplace Experience Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing our physical office space to ensure everything from the kitchen to the conference rooms are in optimal working order.

  • Ensuring the office is fully stocked at all times. This includes managing deliveries, stocking food/beverages, and replenishing office supplies.

  • Running the front desk; answering the phone,  touring guests, maintaining various calendars, and handling employee/guest/vendor inquiries.

  • Serving as Hireology’s office expert. Working with building management and supporting our IT Team whenever needed.

  • Executing both physical and virtual events that engage all employees and promote our culture.

  • Jumping in to support all members of the People Team when needed; including new hire onboarding, interview scheduling, and miscellaneous administrative tasks.

  • Living our core values. You’ll be a curator of our company culture through employee engagement initiatives and you’ll find ways to deliver WOW moments for our team and visitors whenever possible.

So what kind of person are we looking for in this role? We have a unique culture here at Hireology, and the person who will be successful in this role will be.

  • Willing to tackle any job: You have to be willing to own the small tasks (emptying the dishwasher, restocking inventory, office space cleanup, etc.) while understanding the impact these tasks contribute to Hireology

  • Obsessed with details: With so much going on, you need to be hyper-focused on the details and extremely organized to ensure that our office functions efficiently and nothing slips through the cracks

  • Service-oriented builder of relationships: You’re serving nearly 165 employees on a daily basis, and providing excellent “No Assholes” service is required

  • Strong communicator: You’ll be working with internal and external stakeholders, it is imperative that you are a strong and effective communicator

  • Comfortable dealing with technology: In this role, you’ll often be looked to help set up a conference call or troubleshoot technical issues. Experience in Zoom and Gsuite is a plus.

  • Person of integrity: Not negotiable in this role or any at Hireology
