Job Description

1. Implement all strategies for all infrastructure operations

2. Participate in yearly reviews for team members

3. Participate in team disciplinary actions

4. Supervise efficient working of all infrastructure staff and maintain knowledge of all job functions

5. Ensure that all infrastructure functions are well documented

6. Manage all necessary upgrades to all systems

7. Maintain detailed records of current infrastructure hardware, software and system interconnections. Have these documents available for senior management to review.

8. Perform research on all technological solutions

9. Provide support to all procurement initiatives

10. Aid in designing and executing all IT policies and procedures that relate to the infrastructure

11. Constantly evaluate the IT infrastructure and make recommendations to improve it

12. Keep abreast of the latest technology and recommend how it can be applied to our infrastructure

13. Leading the infrastructure team to resolve issues with minimal upper management involvement

14. Working with the Systems Staff in the development of new systems to create efficiencies

15. Overseeing the development of best practices and policies for system usage

16. Maintaining the hardware and software for all preferred platforms

Qualifications

Ø Be able to maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a clear and concise manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors

Ø BS concentrating on IT infrastructure

Ø 8+ years’ experience working in an IT environment

Ø Proven experience managing technical staff

Ø Team building skills

Ø Be familiar with all hardware and software

Ø Be able to adapt to new concepts and systems

Ø Experience in administration of Microsoft Windows Server and Hyper-V environments

Ø Experience establishing a co-location or Cloud solution for disaster recovery/business continuity

Ø Experience with IP phone solutions

Ø Ability to prioritize projects throughout the day

Ø Must meet company standards for punctuality and attendance.
