About this role

We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Manager to lead our growing Chicago-based team of Inside Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). In this role, you will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing a high-performing inside sales team focused on engaging K–12 schools and districts across the country with our industry-leading computer science curriculum.


You will play a key role in driving team performance, optimizing sales processes, and helping our team hit their goals. This is a great opportunity for a people-first sales leader with a proven track record and a passion for education and impact.


Responsibilities
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Inside AEs and SDRs to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales and attended meeting goals
  • Oversee daily sales operations, including activity tracking, pipeline reviews, and performance analysis
  • Provide regular coaching and feedback through 1:1s, call reviews, and collaborative goal setting
  • Help SDRs improve outreach strategies and support AEs in managing inbound and outbound pipelines
  • Partner with sales leadership to shape and implement sales playbooks and scalable workflows
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to support the full sales funnel
  • Monitor KPIs and use data to identify opportunities for training, support, and strategic improvements
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members as the team continues to grow
  • Foster a collaborative, goal-oriented, and inclusive team culture within the Chicago office
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales management or team lead role (preferably inside sales)
  • Proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with a focus on metrics and outcomes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills—you can build trust and alignment quickly
  • A strategic thinker who can balance short-term goals with long-term planning
  • Comfortable using Salesforce, Outreach, and sales analytics tools
  • Passionate about education, equity, and bringing high-quality computer science to more students
Nice to Have
  • Experience selling into the K–12 education market
  • Prior experience as an AE or SDR with a strong understanding of inside sales mechanics
  • Familiarity with SaaS sales or edtech
Compensation

On Track Earnings, which includes Salary and Incentive Compensation: $115,000-$145,000


Location

This is an in-office position, which would require 5 days a week in the CodeHS Chicago office at 747 N LaSalle in River North.
