K-12 Segment Sales Manager
 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Develop the pipeline of new business coming into the assigned territory.   This requires a thorough knowledge of the marketplace, product offering and of EPro’s competitors
  • Collaborate with manufacturer reps. to identify key accounts to call on in order to generate demand and cultivate relationships within the assigned territory
  • Work with regional sales director (RSD) and rep group to create a specific K-12 sales road map
  • Identify those rep groups who do not have the infrastructure to effectively manage the K-12 segment and work with local RSD to develop action plans to support a robust go-forward strategy to fill that gap
  • Identify and assign new leads to local manufacturer’s reps
  • Execute tactics to support overall region and company strategies/goals by identifying potential sales opportunities within the channel; end-user, dealer and consultant and closing sales
  • Foster continual growth of the EPro products and services offering and gaining specification in key targeted school districts and with key school specific consultants, while meeting specific sales revenue & profitability objectives
  • Join related conferences and symposiums that will extend the reach of the business which is necessary to exploring partnerships that will improve profitable share steal 
  • In direct relationship to the K-12 segment, describe, explain and educate the end users, consultants, representatives and the dealer communities on EPro’s product’s features and customer benefits for all the relevant product lines and its series of products
  • Participate in product development and improvement programs, providing first-hand, experience-based market intelligence on customer requirements, product performance, and other key factors, and providing voice of customer inputs
  • Works cross functionally with internal resources; customer service, product management, marketing, design engineering and service, etc. to bring viable solutions for customer’s needs to win the business.  Assist customer service and field sales team in the resolution of customer disputes
  • Represent EPro and the brands at trade shows, and similar events to create business opportunities.  Drive the creation of engaging and impactful trade show displays and activities that will create excitement and interest in the related brand/s.
  • Maintain and develop CRM database, provide monthly reports and forecasts.  Track and document prospecting activities, new contact names, and opportunity qualification notes.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

WHAT’S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • School Food Service /Nutritionist background preferred
  • Previous experience or aptitude for field sales, sales management, technical sales/sales support or marketing required.

WORKING CONDITION:
  • General remote office environment
  • Travel by surface or air pertinent to activities including some weekends and holidays.  Travel anticipated 30-50% of normal work period.
