Job DescriptionAs the Application Operations Lead, you will be responsible for the optimal functionality and performance of server software programs to ensure the fulfillment of the organization's business objectives. The Lead - Application Operations will work closely with the Application Architect to manage both release management and testing environment management. Responsibilities include troubleshooting applications and software for all internal customers, such as operations, development, and other corporate functions and divisions. As the Application Operations Lead, you will also assist in the design, delivery, and improvement of in-house software applications, up to and including, break/fix, minor enhancements, technical training and technical documentation.
Qualifications- In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise and desktop applications, including Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012, IIS, and SQL Server.
- Broad knowledge of programming languages and techniques, including .NET, SQL, PowerShell, VBScript, VB.NET and C#.
- Previous experience supervising technical resources.
- College degree in the field of computer science, information systems, and/or 6-8 years equivalent work experience.
- Certifications in .NET, SQL Server and other Microsoft technologies preferred.
- Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skills.
