In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant in driving the company credit culture, desire, and business performance for Credit Risk
- Review and analyze complex strategies, programs and policies with a direct and significant impact on credit risk appetite and culture
- Receive direction from leaders
- Develop and utilize analysis capabilities to assist the commercial exam teams with examinations
- Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal and external customers
- Collaborate with business for oversight of risk management
- Interact with Audit, Legal, external agencies, and regulatory bodies on risk related topics
- 5+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Previous experience with consumer credit risk strategy development and monitoring in financial service industry
- Previous experience with reviewing or underwriting consumer credits either in originations or loss mitigation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and advanced MS Office Suite product skills to include (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Word)
- Ability to gather, analyze, package, and present analytical findings in an insightful and logical manner
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and achieve goals in a dynamic environment
- Ability to provide credible challenge and candor to peers
- Ability to work at one of the approved locations in the job posting
