Job Summary:
The Manager, B2B Marketing Measurement & Effectiveness will support PayPal's B2B Marketing measurement and investment capability, helping leadership understand how effectively Marketing is contributing to business outcomes, where opportunities exist, and how investment should evolve.This role partners closely with B2B Marketing, Data Science, Finance, and cross-functional partners to support a fit-for-purpose measurement strategy, helping define key questions, identify data gaps, support the right analytical approaches, and translate evidence into clear business and investment recommendations.
The ideal candidate brings strong B2B marketing measurement experience and solid analytical judgment, including in environments where data is still maturing. This person won't build every model personally; instead, they'll help determine what Marketing needs to learn, ensure the right analytical approach is used, and support leadership in acting confidently even when evidence is imperfect.

Help build a fit-for-purpose B2B Marketing measurement framework that connects Marketing activity to relevant customer, merchant, funnel, pipeline, revenue, and commercial outcomes based on the Marketing motion and business objective.
Support clear measurement priorities and maturity goals, helping determine what PayPal can credibly measure today, where important evidence gaps remain, and which capabilities should be developed first to improve Marketing decision-making.
Translate B2B Marketing questions into analytical requirements, partnering with Data Science to help determine the appropriate methodology, data, assumptions, outputs, and interpretation required for the decision being supported.
Apply fit-for-purpose measurement judgment across methods, including experimentation, incrementality, attribution, customer or account-level analysis, funnel and commercial-outcome analytics, cohort analysis, econometric approaches, and other methods as appropriate.
Help integrate multiple sources of evidence into a coherent view of B2B Marketing effectiveness, clearly distinguishing what is known, what remains uncertain, and which conclusions are sufficiently supported to inform a decision.
Contribute to analytically sound recommendations when data or measurement are incomplete, making assumptions and limitations explicit while helping Marketing leadership move forward with the best available evidence.
Help build and maintain a prioritized B2B Marketing learning agenda, helping identify the highest-value questions that require stronger evidence and partnering with Experimentation, Data Science, and other teams to close those gaps over time.
Support the framing of B2B Marketing investment scenarios and trade-offs, helping translate measurement findings into clear recommendations on where Marketing should increase, decrease, or shift investment across markets, audiences, programs, channels, and customer segments.
Partner with the Global Marketing Investment & Measurement team on enterprise allocation questions, providing the B2B evidence, scenarios, constraints, and recommendations to help compare investment opportunities across the broader Marketing portfolio.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant experience in B2B marketing measurement, B2B marketing analytics, marketing effectiveness, GTM analytics, revenue analytics, Marketing Strategy & Performance, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience contributing to a B2B Marketing measurement capability, framework, roadmap, or operating model, including in environments where data or measurement are still maturing.
Experience defining appropriate outcomes and KPIs for different B2B Marketing motions and connecting leading Marketing indicators to downstream customer, merchant, pipeline, revenue, or other commercial outcomes.
Working knowledge of multiple Marketing measurement approaches, including experimentation, incrementality, attribution, funnel or pipeline analytics, cohort analysis, customer or account-level analysis, econometric methods, and other fit-for-purpose approaches.
Ability to help select the appropriate measurement approach for a business question based on available data, customer journey, scale, analytical feasibility, required precision, and the decision being supported.
Experience working with incomplete, fragmented, or imperfect data and developing a clear analytical point of view without overstating the strength or causality of the available evidence.
Experience contributing to Marketing investment scenarios, evaluating trade-offs, or recommending where B2B Marketing resources should increase, decrease, or shift based on available evidence.
Experience contributing to a structured learning agenda and using experimentation or other analytical approaches to help close high-priority Marketing evidence gaps.
Experience partnering across Marketing, Analytics or Data Science, Finance, GTM, CRM, data, or business teams where the information required to measure Marketing impact is distributed across functions.
Working knowledge of marketing mix modeling is a plus but not required; candidates should understand how MMM can complement other B2B measurement approaches and work effectively with internal or external MMM experts.
Experience within enterprise B2B, financial services, fintech, payments, commerce, platform, SaaS, marketplace, or another business with complex customer journeys and data-intensive Marketing is preferred.
