What this job involves

JLL is seeking a Manager, Data & Analytics for the National Leasing Advisory Industrial platform to own the datasets, dashboards, and AI-enabled workflows that platform leadership and producers rely on. This role sits at the intersection of Investor business development, Occupier business development, Research, Sales Enablement, and JLLT, and it converts a fragmented set of manual analytical tasks into a single, scalable analytics engine.

You will operate as both a builder and a partner. You will design and maintain the underlying data infrastructure, produce the dashboards and models that leadership and producers rely on, and identify where AI-enabled solutions can replace repetitive work.

Primary responsibilities

Analytical platform and data infrastructure

  • Own the data infrastructure and analytical output that power the National Industrial platform.
  • Design, build, and maintain the core datasets that support Investor business development, Occupier business development, and executive decision making.
  • Conduct the analysis and research required to inform build, buy, or change decisions on analytical tools and platforms.
  • Evaluate new applications and emerging capabilities, define system requirements, and recommend enhancements to existing tools.
  • Establish and enforce data input protocols so that reporting, pipeline visibility, and deal tracking are accurate and consistent.

Dashboards and self-service reporting

  • Build self-service dashboards used across Agency IPS pursuits, Occupier business development strategy, and executive leadership decision making.
  • Customize dashboards on demand for individual pursuits, requests for proposal, and steering committee agendas.
  • Maintain the benchmarking, mapping, and custom visualization capability that supports Industrial brokerage.
  • Translate analytical output into presentation-ready deliverables for internal and client-facing use.

AI-enabled automation and scale

  • Identify repetitive analytical work and design AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Coordinate AI-assisted research processes across sectors and verticals.
  • Design each workstream to run on AI-enabled pipelines, returning time to authorship and client-facing work.

Investor business development delivery

  • Design and maintain the MLA collection, coordinate broker responses nationally, execute follow-ups, and track market deals for IPS lead generation.
  • Maintain the centralized SAT client plan tracker covering acquisitions, dispositions, data requests, events, and initiatives, and summarize earnings and market news.
  • Prepare SAT client meetings by compiling revenue and performance data, synthesizing insights, tracking personnel and organizational changes, and documenting actions and ownership.
  • Design and run SAT broker surveys, including broker outreach, follow-up, response analysis, and packaging of findings into insight decks.
  • Develop presentation decks and Journey materials that translate strategy discussions into polished internal and external communications.
  • Support IPS pursuits and accounts by coordinating deliverables and calls with Research, business development leads, and IPS account managers, and by building the supporting dashboards and Excel models.

Occupier business development delivery

  • Map client supply chains, including hubs, nodes, and distribution centers, and produce industry-specific visualizations to support site selection.
  • Coordinate industry calls across Retail, 3PL, CPG, Food and Beverage, and Advanced Manufacturing, owning agendas, notes, action items, and follow-ups.
  • Build target account lists by vertical, map coverage across IPS, EPS, and REMS, and identify cross-sell opportunities.
  • Partner with Research on emerging market and economic trends, and translate those insights into pitch content.
  • Maintain the intelligence repository and executive summaries that make sector knowledge accessible across the platform.

Cross-functional partnership

  • Serve as the connection point between the Industrial platform and Research, Sales Enablement, JLLT, and Operations.
  • Direct support teams to optimize the tools, data sources, and reporting that serve the Industrial platform.
  • Build strong relationships with producers and leadership to develop a thorough understanding of business goals, processes, and challenges.
  • Prepare communications and present to leadership on system enhancements, analytical priorities, and platform alternatives.

People leadership

  • Perform a broad range of assignments with limited supervision, using experience and judgment to analyze and resolve problems.

Interested? An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications:

Required Technical skills

  • Familiarity with predictive modeling, geospatial analysis (PostGIS, ESRI), or econometric methods
  • Demonstrated ability to translate quantitative work into narratives that non-technical senior leaders can act on.

Experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in real estate, finance, business, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Seven+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics engineering or applied analytics with increasing scope.  Commercial real estate experience with exposure to the industrial sector preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills including strong SQL and Python (or R). Fluency with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent) and BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
  • Working knowledge of information technology concepts, strategies, and methodologies, with the ability to partner effectively with technology teams.
  • Familiarity with finance and investment analysis principles as applied to commercial real estate.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Strong relationship management, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to set and maintain priorities against multiple operational goals.
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and data platforms.
  • Disciplined and flexible, able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to superior client service and to continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

Preferred qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience applying AI-enabled tools to automate analytical or research workflows.
  • Experience with supply chain analysis, network mapping, or industrial market analytics.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
