JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to fill the role of Manager, Electric Vehicle at Wheels. As the Manger, Electric Vehicle, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's initiatives related to electric vehicle (EV) fleet management, charger installations, electricity reimbursement programs, and the development of innovative products in the electric vehicle space.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsibilities:
  • Operations:
    • Support the EV team in day-to-day transaction and problem solving. Work with supporting departments to meet customer expectations on EV services.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Implement and support a comprehensive strategy for the company's electric vehicle initiatives, considering charger installations, electricity reimbursement, and innovative product development to grow the EV department’s revenue.
  • EV Fleet Charging compliance:
    • Oversee the management of electric vehicle fleets and ensuring optimal charging performance.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to implement best practices for EV fleet operations.
  • Charger Installations:
    • Support the planning, execution, and maintenance of electric vehicle charger installations.
    • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to ensure successful and timely installations.
  • Electricity Reimbursement Programs:
    • Oversee programs for reimbursing electricity costs associated with electric vehicle usage.
    • Stay informed about government incentives and regulations related to electricity reimbursement for EVs.
  • Compliance and Regulation:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the electric vehicle industry.
    • Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact fleet maintenance and electric vehicle operations.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
    • Communicate the benefits and progress of electric vehicle initiatives to both internal and external audiences.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma required, bachelor's or associate degree.
  • Three years of relevant work experience.

  • Proven experience in electric vehicle fleet management and charger installations.
  • Strong understanding of electric vehicle technologies and market trends.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and incentives in the electric vehicle sector.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: This position is in Schaumburg, IL and operates in a professional office environment.
Position Type/Standard Schedule: This is a Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Travel: Travel is not expected for this position.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly talk and hear and use hands and fingers.

Pay Range:

$59,300-$83,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
