Job Summary & Responsibilities

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a dynamic Manager Supplier Revenue Optimization, to join our team. This role provides strategic, analytical, and operational direction across all supplier categories (Air, Hotel, Ground, and Distribution). The successful candidate will transform complex data into actionable insights, develop financial models that inform business decisions, and identify opportunities to maximize revenue and profitability. Working cross-functionally with supplier relations, finance, and operational teams. This role drives value for Direct Travel, its supplier partners, and clients. This position is on the Supplier Relations team and will report to the VP Revenue Management.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive data-driven recommendations that improve profitability and streamline supplier management processes.
  • Collaborate with supplier managers, finance, and operations, to maximize value to DT and its supplier partners.
  • Optimize agent display configurations, commission structures, and supplier programs to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Create strategic initiatives for individual supplier portfolios in coordination with the regional and global strategy to drive incremental revenue opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
  • Provide analysis on ad hoc market, supplier, or client changes that occur by evaluating options to address them.
  • Partner across departments to identify reporting gaps and support the development of tools, dashboards, and automation solutions that enhance decision-making.
  • Proactively identify new supplier opportunities, service offerings, and innovations that can enhance the company’s supplier operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or related field (or related experience)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
  • 5+ years of experience in revenue management, consulting, finance, supplier management, procurement, or supply chain roles.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools
