About the role and team

The US Enterprise Franchise Account Management team grows Enterprise restaurant brands at the site level by partnering with the franchise groups that own and operate their locations. We help franchisees translate their local priorities and group-level growth goals into account plans that improve performance across their restaurants on Uber Eats.

As Sr. Manager, you’ll lead a team of 6+ Account Managers and serve as a senior commercial partner to some of the largest franchise groups within Uber’s Enterprise portfolio. You’ll work alongside your Account Managers in business reviews, key negotiations, and industry events, building relationships with franchise owners and operators. You’ll also build and scale the playbooks, coaching, and operating practices that help the team deliver consistent results across a diverse portfolio of franchise groups and individual sites.

What you’ll do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6+ Account Managers responsible for growing Enterprise restaurant brands through their franchise groups. Set clear expectations for portfolio management, commercial execution, and partner engagement, and provide hands-on coaching through account planning, business reviews, and performance management.
  • Own portfolio P&L, OKRs, and commercial performance, connecting franchise group growth plans to measurable results at individual sites. Use group- and site-level data to identify opportunities, prioritize the team’s time, and balance merchant growth with sustainable economics for Uber.
  • Build relationships with franchise owners, executives, and operational leaders alongside your Account Managers. Attend and help lead business reviews with some of the largest franchise groups in the Enterprise portfolio, aligning on local and group-level priorities, growth goals, and clear next steps.
  • Represent Uber at franchise conferences, brand conventions, and partner meetings. Use these forums to deepen relationships with key franchise groups, understand operator needs, and develop opportunities with your Account Managers.
  • Build, test, and scale account management best practices and playbooks for franchise groups, including site-level opportunity identification, business reviews, product adoption, renegotiation, and upselling. Turn successful approaches into practical tools and coaching materials the team can use across its portfolio.
  • Translate commercial strategy into clear account segmentation, priorities, and execution plans. Establish a consistent cadence for portfolio reviews and coaching so Account Managers know which partners and sites to focus on, which growth levers to recommend, and how to measure success.
  • Partner with Enterprise brand account teams, Operations, Marketing, and Product to connect brand strategy with franchisee needs. Advocate for local and franchise group priorities, resolve barriers to execution, and help Account Managers recommend solutions that fit each operator’s business.
  • Support complex negotiations and senior partner escalations, working alongside Account Managers to strengthen commercial terms and deepen partnerships. Bring recurring franchisee feedback and site-level insights back to internal teams to improve the merchant experience and inform how we serve franchise groups at scale.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in account management, business development, commercial strategy, or a related field, with responsibility for growing complex partner portfolios.
  • Proven experience leading and developing Account Managers or other commercial teams on a sales incentive plan (SIP), including coaching, setting portfolio priorities, and managing performance.
  • Strong commercial experience with P&L ownership, account planning, and negotiation, with a track record of delivering measurable partner growth and financial results.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to translate account- and site-level data into actionable recommendations and present them in partner business reviews. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with restaurant franchisees, multi-unit operators, or franchised Enterprise brands, with an understanding of how brand, franchise group, and local site priorities intersect.
  • Demonstrated success building relationships with franchise owners and senior executives, leading business reviews, and representing a business at industry conferences or partner events.
  • Experience building and scaling account management playbooks, business review frameworks, or coaching programs across a commercial team. SQL proficiency is a plus.
  • Experience driving adoption of marketing or marketplace products across multiple restaurant locations, using data to tailor recommendations and demonstrate partner value.
