Department Overview
The Market Intelligence function is a dedicated strategic team within the Chief Marketing Organization designed to embed evidence-based insights into our global strategy. This capability serves as the primary engine for identifying emerging market trends and evolving customer needs, ensuring our brand maintains a distinct and resonant value proposition. By synthesizing high-fidelity research, this team optimizes our market positioning and resource allocation to drive long-term, sustainable growth in a dynamic landscape.
You will partner with marketing teams to design and implement strategic programs. This role is instrumental in ensuring these initiatives resonate with the unique needs and challenges of our government and enterprise customers, while also producing sales enablement content that supports key business priorities. Job Description

You will spearhead intelligence gathering across these critical domains:

Primary & Secondary Research: Conduct targeted research on key enterprise and government vertical industries.

  • Customer Research: Build and optimize buyer profiles and customer journey maps, using research to drive marketing reach and timing.

  • Vertical Industry Research: Assist in the execution of research projects, including survey deployment and data cleaning, to ensure alignment with project timelines.

  • Firmographics: Compile data on enterprise structure, size, and growth metrics to inform high-value target identification.

  • Value Proposition Alignment: Ensure our marketing programs are impactful and directly address the "unique needs and challenges" of sophisticated B2G and B2B buyers.

Ignite Cross-Functional Marketing Success

  • Vertical Marketing Integration: Partner in the development of industry-specific marketing collateral by distilling customer requirements into clear, value-driven messaging for government and enterprise sectors. 

  • Insight Synthesis: Lead the synthesis of high-fidelity research, interpreting raw data to produce "Executive Briefs"—concise, scannable updates that inform the CMO’s strategic decision-making.

Centralize Organizational Data and Metrics:

  • Data Stewardship: Serve as the primary, authoritative source of truth for organizational metrics and statistical reporting, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all marketing functions.

  • Repository Curation: Scaling and governing the market intelligence repository, ensuring reliable, easy access to the latest evidence-based insights.

  • AI-Augmented Workflow: Actively leverage AI and automation tools to streamline data aggregation, accelerate research, and synthesize insights, ensuring core focus remains on strategic interpretation and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience in marketing, insights / research, strategy

  • Expertise in modern survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI). Proficiency in advanced analytical frameworks (SQL, SPSS, or R) is a significant advantage.

Target Base Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
