This internship presents an exceptional opportunity to join McCain Foods, the global leader in potato & snacking foodservice. Our North American Snacking Marketing team is seeking a motivated intern to collaborate with us starting in May 2026.
As an intern, you will contribute strategically to our evolving foodservice snacking portfolio, engaging in high-impact projects that will drive meaningful commercial transformation and help shape the future direction of our brands.
This position is based at our Oakbrook, IL office, with an expectation of working on-site three days per week as part of our hybrid work model.

The team is composed of Marketing professionals in the US and Canada who own the foodservice channel portfolio for snacking products, including offerings such as cheese, onion, vegetable, and pepper appetizers. The team is responsible for delivering market-leading solutions for our customers, operators, and consumers, while shaping the future of snacking in foodservice.

Compensation Package: $23.00 - $26.00 USD hourly wage equivalent, paid as a non-exempt salary.

What you'll be doing:
- Engage in a comprehensive analysis of our business and competitive landscape, benchmarking McCain's portfolio against leading industry competitors.
- Leverage consumer and operator demand spaces, as well as internal and external data sources, to identify unmet needs and develop insight-grounded recommendations to drive growth for McCain.
- Learn how Brand Marketing sits at the hub of cross-functional teams including Sales, Culinary, R&D, Communications, Insights, Supply Chain, and Finance to own a product portfolio and manage a P&L.
- Assist in developing commercial tools and materials to present and sell new strategies to our sales teams.
- Contribute to the launch of new product innovation and renovation based on identified market gaps, evolving regulatory landscape, and growth opportunities.
What you'll need to be successful.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing (or a related field).
- Demonstrated interest in food and emerging food trends.
- Strong analytical abilities and a talent for translating data insights into business actions.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within teams.
- Passion for diving deep into data and uncovering meaningful insights.
- Ability to commute to the Oakbrook, IL office for a hybrid schedule (three days per week in-office).
