What You'll Do

    Account Growth and Strategy

  • Collaborate with Mexico and Business Development (BD) leadership to create and implement expansion strategies for assigned accounts

  • Develop and execute plans to foster consistency and growth within your book of business

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for your customers, building relationships and driving account growth through engagement and high-quality service

  • Provide feedback to the pricing team on business nuances, favorable lanes, and spot hit rates; offer recommendations for improvements

  • Assist in coordinating Request for Proposal (RFP) execution alongside Executive Sponsors, Sales, and the Pricing Team

  • Implementation

  • Work with customers and BD representatives to define onboarding requirements and ensure successful account setup

  • Gather necessary information for onboarding and establish internal processes to provide a high level of customer service

  • Act as the liaison between BD and the Mexico team, ensuring that internal and customer expectations are met

  • Execution

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of cross-border Mexico (XB MX) loads for assigned accounts, including load building, scheduling appointments, customs documentation, border operations, issue resolution, and aging management

  • Deliver exceptional service and flawless execution to ensure positive first impressions with customers

  • Identify and address operational inefficiencies to monitor and improve account profitability

  • Drive consistency in volume across assigned accounts and collaborate with operations leadership to coordinate transitions

  • Manage daily performance against Customer and Cross-Border Mexico KPIs

  • Resolve issues proactively to mitigate potential claims

  • Leverage previous customer operations experience to problem-solve complex issues independently and collaboratively

  • Work with cross-border carrier teams to ensure alignment on load requirements, optimizing coverage and service

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred

  • Prior operations experience in a 3PL or supply chain environment, 2+ years preferred

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while multitasking

  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and follow-through

  • Confident in executing tasks based on verbal and written instructions

  • Passionate about customer service and problem-solving with the customer experience in mind

  • Proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve results

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to improve processes and create efficiencies
