Oracle Developer

Qualifications: 

• Experience implementing and configuring WMS Oracle (I.e Oracle reports/forms/labels) 
• Five plus years of development experience to include PL/SQL. 
• Have strong SQL, PL/SQL, relational database, and ETL knowledge and hands on experience 
• Knowledge of Supply Chain services, strategy and processes will be preferred 
• Oracle EBS experience is a plus 
• Knowledge of other supply chain modules like OM, Finance etc. 
• MWA experience and JAVA skills for any MWA development or debugging 
• Experience with AI code assist tools 
• Web DEV experience or willingness to learn is a plus 
• Ability to use Tools for virtual work and collaboration such as MS Teams and Webex 
• Ability to be self-directed and self-motivated 
• Ability to thrive in a very agile environment with evolving requirements 
• Ability to be innovative, have outside-the-box creativity, and present alternative ideas 
• To be a good active listener and communicator 

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $82,000.00 to $103,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What is the IT Shipping Execution Team? 

The IT Shipping Execution team uses a broad range of functional and technical skills toward the continued build-out of solutions to support our Shipping Operations teams.  As an Oracle Developer, you will be responsible for participating in the on-going maintenance and enhancements of our existing code base, and general project related deliverables all within an Agile development framework.  You will be expected to become an advocate for code quality and standards of development while also taking a hand in mentoring and guiding the more junior members of our team.  You will also be expected to contribute to the technical designing of solutions of our complex business problems.  When you are successful in this role, you will have a distinct impact on teams, products, and individuals outside of your own team. 

What will you be doing? 

The individual we are looking to hire will work with a team of analysts and developers to support and enhance the on-prem and cloud Oracle Systems. You will be learning and expected to know our business processes including custom processes within our Oracle Suite. There will be a strong SQL and PL/SQL need for this role. 

Responsibilities: 

As a member of our IT Shipping Execution team, you will:  

• Live and Breathe the WWT Core Values and best practices  
• Participate in the on-going development and support of existing IT Shipping Execution efforts 
• Guide and drive technical solutions to complex business problems 
• Participate in strategic projects that improve operational efficiency across WWT’s Global Supply Chain organization 
• Create and maintain Oracle PL/SQL objects 
• Learn and provide technical expertise to Warehouse Management System (WMS) Oracle Module and Oracle Shipping Execution 
• Exposure and opportunity for full stack web development on team owned applications  
• Opportunity to create and maintain Service Oriented Architecture (SOACS) services for Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud 
• Testing the end-to-end solution to ensure complete satisfaction of internal and external users 
• Develop simple to complex programs on supported database and ETL technologies 
• Mentor and guide junior members of the team 
• Completing projects based on Agile SDLC methodology
