Our Data Science and Learning division (DSL) is seeking a Postbaccalaureate Appointee to join their team as a temporary employee.
This particular position involves building long running agents that use the genesis mission platform as a testing ground for the ARIA API specification. Tests will represent problems in cancer treatment facing our collaborators at the University of Chicago. This position includes an opportunity for a Joint Appointment at the University of Chicago.
Position Requirements
- Recently completed Bachelors degree in computational biology or related discipline
- Ability to formulate solutions independently
- Experience presenting own results at regular meetings
- Willingness to present published articles at regular journal club meetings
- Demonstrated ability to prepare reports and manuscripts
- Knowledge of modern software development practices and techniques
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to model Argonne’s Core Values: Impact, Safety, Respect, Integrity, and Teamwork

Full timeThe expected hiring range for this position is $58,656.00-$92,273.00.Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, business considerations, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
