Revolution Brewing, your local craft beer proudly brewed only in Chicago, is hiring an Area Sales Rep to share the story of our brewery. As our front-line voice you'll work with our local distributor and retail partners to get our fresh beers into consumer fists. This may be through landing great spots for our displays, ensuring our seasonals are in the allocated shelf space, or talking about our tasty beer at retail store samplings.

We're hiring for an off-premise rep to work in the Chicago Beverage Systems (CBS) territory - specifically retail for downtown Chicago and the residential neighborhoods in the CBS city limits.  Establishing relationships with buyers at retail stores in these areas will be key to creating awareness with these partners and our consumers. You'll be in the market 4.5 days/week, visiting accounts to coordinate with buyers, drop off POS or anything else that will let Chicago know about our flagships or fun, new beers. To plan your days you'll use VIP to analyze sales opportunities to get Rev into the public's hands. Following up with your accounts and summing up your wins to the distributor will showcase those great communication skills we know you'll have, too. Let us know in a cover letter where you've had success!

Qualifications
  • You'll have 1-5 years working for a beer wholesaler or supplier within the Chicagoland market, with a Bachelors degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Working with off-premise accounts is required.
  • You'll be more than proficient pulling data to analyze in Excel to create your own sales plan.
  • A valid drivers license and reliable car is a must, as you'll travel around different neighborhoods in Chicago.
  • Nights and weekends availability is required as with most beginner beer sales roles, with flex time to ensure time off is provided.
  • You'll already have experience successfully meeting sales goals, prioritizing independent tasks, and handling multiple projects.
  • You have to be able to maneuver 35-pound cases, as well as maneuver and place full kegs.

If found on a different site than revbrew.com/employment, the base salary for this role is from $45,000-55,000, plus an annual bonus of 10% paid in January and a quarterly sales bonus tied to KPI's, up to $12,000/year (most reps earn between $1-2K/quarter). Benefits begin the first day of the month after you start, with medical/dental/vision insurances, 3 weeks PTO, 401(k) with company match, and more offered.
