Job Description

Waltz Health is looking for a Pricing Analyst to use leading data analytics tools to identify and demonstrate value creation opportunities for consumers and clients looking to save on prescriptions.  You’ll do this by developing robust reporting packages for internal teams and external clients. You will work with the Waltz team to create a list of requirements, select the right technology stack, and execute to create a full reporting package from start to finish. This reporting structure will create a foundation for our future growth and establish a standard across the whole company.

The Pricing Analyst will work with variety of tech systems spanning across the whole organization (Microsoft DevOps, Amazon S3/Redshift, Atlassian, Tableau, PostrgeSQL and etc.)   

As a pricing analyst, your activities will be centered around intake of files (Microsoft Pipeline/Python), manipulation of files (SQL/Python), visualization (Tableau, Python, Excel) and presentation internally or externally (Tableau, PowerPoint, Excel) + any additional ad-hoc analysis through Tableau/Excel.  Metrics guiding your output will include: on-time delivery, accuracy, client satisfaction, and value opportunities identified.

You will primarily focus on the following responsibilities:

  • Pricing around intake of raw files; dealing with storage, processing, cleaning and manipulating data through different tools.
  • Work with interna and external teams to understand requirements and propose solutions.
  • Performing pricing analysis and generating business insights to help define new business opportunities and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Developing and providing expertise on the pharmacy industry, the pain points, and the opportunities to create value.

In the first 90 days, you will:

  1. Learn how pharmaceutical pricing works in the Waltz Health Data Platform.
  2. Support the team with pricing analysis.
  3. Manage the flow and transformation of pharmacy data.

You will be successful at Waltz Health because you bring the following skills:

  • Proficient with data querying, transformation, and analysis
  • Proficient with data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, etc.)
  • Analytical mindset and great team player
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Pharmacy pricing experience -- Preferred not required

We'd love for you to have these qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in quantitative fields
  • Masters (Bonus)
  • 2+ years of previous experience in pricing analytics work, ideally for a healthcare company
  • Experience with drug pricing (Bonus)
  • Healthcare/Technology experience (Bonus)

Pay Range

$50 - $99 annual salary
