Key Responsibilities

  • Model Support: Populate and update established Excel pricing templates.

  • RFP Analysis: Read and evaluate solicitations to identify specific financial requirements (e.g., CLIN structure, template requirements, etc.).
  • Narrative Assistance: Draft the administrative sections of pricing narratives (e.g., company information, travel policies, and standard labor rate explanations).
  • File Integrity: Maintain the “Gold Folder” for proposals, ensuring all versions of the price model and supporting documentation are organized for potential audits.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Reach out to Project Managers or other teams to gather required information (e.g., current salary data or labor category descriptions).

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related professional experience in a government contracting environment.
  • A basic understanding of contract types, rate development, applicable regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS, etc.), and the proposal life cycle.
  • Basic proficiency with standard Excel formulas (e.g., SUM, XLOOKUP, IFS, etc.) and maintaining links within a spreadsheet.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain data clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to new tasks, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Work Environment

  • 100% remote with occasional travel required (<10%).
  • May require occasional extended hours during major proposal deadlines.
