Job Description:

Principal Industrial Engineer - Multiple Roles

(Chocolate Salty, Gum, Fruity)

The Principal Central IE - Performance role is the leader for the regional IE Function in the key areas of Supply Performance / Metrics, Labor / NQC Strategy, value leadership for IMT, and the FI Pillar.    This role is key in helping our network set the strategy for our manufacturing sites as it relates to site performance, performance glide pathing, and FI Pillar performance to drive improvement at our sites.   

This role will also support key Central IE efforts as needed.  Mainly to support the administration of key IE Processes across our network or to lead special projects for the IE Function.  

What are we looking for? 

  • Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum 7 years of related work experience (Operations Line Manager, Site Industrial Engineer, Project Engineer, Logistics Manager, Industrial Engineer, Supply Chain Management) 

  • Skilled in areas of Chocolate Salty, Gum, Fruity or other relevant area.

  • Proven strong analytical and change management capability  

  • Demonstrated success in Efficiency and Project management skills. Must be able to prioritize projects within heavy workload periods. 

  • Experience in multifunctional project work for supply chain and innovation management. 

  • Knowledge of manufacturing technologies 

What would your key responsibilities be?

Supply Analytics:  

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in supply measures from Global business framework.  Builds capability in teams in the Mfg. sites to ensure measures are captured accurately.  

  • Support Supply Leadership in the development of reports on data trends within Supply.  Provides analytical insight to drive business decisions.  

  • Leads strategy for metrics for the region:  Alignment of metrics, strategy for collecting metrics and technology for collecting metrics. 

  • Leads key performance setting processes for IE Function:  Complexity Analysis, TRS Roadmap, MCP Process, Long Term Capacity Planning, Labor, NQC etc. 

Focused Improvement Pillar Leader / IMT Value Leadership(VLiC) Lead: 

  • Key resource within Supply representing Internal Manufacturing as it relates to FI Pillar leadership and VLiC delivery across the network. 

  • Leads recurring regional pillar cadence to share learnings to support progression of MSE. 

  • Actively participates in the global regional pillar meeting for their pillar to review regional progression for their sites, share learnings and provide feedback on improvement opportunities. 

  • Participates in an annual F2F calibration to ensure proficiency and alignment for their pillar with global pillar lead 

Regional Program Leadership/Support: 

  • Lead or Support critical MSNA Supply initiatives.  Primarily to support the IE Function but could also expand to Supply efforts requiring leadership and / or involvement by IE.  Potential examples include: Co-lead Thallo/APA Automation process; Project Octopus UC Leadership, etc.

Leadership Initiatives: 

  • Lead and give input into various Regional and Global activities 

  • Build Capability within regional IE team 

  • Lead sessions within operating model

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 119,040.00 - USD 163,680.00
