Join Our Product Management Talent Community

Experienced Product Managers — we'd love to connect.

At Fortune Brands Innovations (FBIN), we're always looking to build relationships with experienced Product Managers who are passionate about bringing innovative physical products to market. While we may not have the perfect opportunity available today, we're actively growing our Product Management Talent Community for future openings across our Water, Outdoors, and Security businesses.

If you have 5+ years of Product Management experience and enjoy owning products from concept through commercialization, we'd love to hear from you.

POSITION LOCATION: These opportunities are based in Deerfield, IL and are eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Our world-class campus offers collaborative workspaces along with onsite dining, fitness facilities, recreation, and daycare amenities.

What You Could Be Working On

As a Product Manager at FBIN, you'll help shape products used by millions of consumers while partnering with teams across the business to bring new ideas to life. Depending on the opportunity, you may:

  • Develop and execute product strategies that drive category growth and business performance.
  • Own products throughout the full lifecycle—from consumer insights and concept development through commercialization and ongoing portfolio management.
  • Analyze customer insights, market trends, competitive intelligence, and business performance to identify opportunities and guide strategic decisions.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Innovation, and Operations to successfully develop and launch products.
  • Lead product line reviews, roadmap planning, pricing strategy, portfolio optimization, and go-to-market execution.
  • Utilize business and analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP, and other reporting platforms to support data-driven decisions.
  • Travel occasionally for customer visits, manufacturing locations, product testing, trade shows, or market research.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in connecting with Product Managers who have experience leading physical products, including:

  • Consumer products
  • Durable goods
  • Building products/Building Materials
  • Manufacturing environments

Successful candidates typically bring:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience
  • Experience managing products through stage-gate development and commercialization processes
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Experience using customer insights and market data to drive product strategy
  • A track record of successfully managing products throughout the product lifecycle

Please note: These opportunities focus on physical product management. Candidates whose experience is exclusively in software or digital product management are generally not the right fit for these roles.

Why Join Our Talent Community?

By joining our Product Management Talent Community, you'll be among the first candidates our recruiting team considers as new opportunities become available. If your experience aligns with an upcoming role, we'll reach out to discuss the opportunity and determine whether it's a great fit for your background and career goals.

If you're ready to help shape innovative products for some of the industry's most recognized brands, we'd love to connect.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years with experience related to physical products/durables/consumer goods (product management, product development, etc.)
  • Familiarity with stage-gate or structured product development environments
  • Strong communication skills and comfort using data to inform decisions

Preferred:

  • Background in consumer goods, building materials, durable goods, or manufacturing
  • MBA or advanced degree
