iM Responsible For…
- Driving the roadmap of the next generation collaboration experience for the core iManage platform. This includes but is not limited to building a set of features and services in the core client application focused on:
- Enhancing the core collaboration experience – owning the vision and strategic roadmap for allowing Knowledge Workers to work collaboratively with internal and external parties, whether that’s by securely sharing files or allowing them to work jointly across organizational boundaries.
- Client work orchestration – driving the iManage Tracker vision forward by giving Knowledge Workers visibility and control over mission-critical deliverables.
- Smart notifications – leveraging AI to surface critical updates across client applications based on role and urgency to ensure nothing falls through the cracks for time-sensitive deliverables.
- Interviewing, synthesizing, and rapidly validating features with the user experience team based on jobs to be done by different personas who need to access content within the iManage products.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization to inform product decisions and roadmap.
- Prioritizing development with engineering based on market and customer-facing commitments.
- Communicating capabilities and benefits to the broader market and internal stakeholders who will use these features in their respective products.
- Executing the launch of new features and new releases to the market which involves working with support, partners, cloud Ops, marketing, sales, etc. to enable the organization and field.
- Presenting on-demand product vision, roadmap of planned releases and existing features to internal and external audiences, including executive briefings, trade shows, and customer meetings.
- Adapting the product roadmap strategy to larger company direction changes and disruptive events.
- Monitoring competitors and developing compelling differentiation across the products and services offered.
- Dealing with uncertainty related to customer demands and fast-paced technology landscape to identify strong product market fit.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager for a B2B or B2C SaaS offering.
- Knowledge or experience in the legal industry.
- Deep expertise with content collaboration applications such as Teams, Slack, Box, SharePoint, etc.
- Understanding of cloud and enterprise content security.
- A proven track record of building applications or add-ons that achieved broad adoption.
- The ability to collaborate, negotiate, and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Experience communicating with and building relationships with key customers and prospects.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate product vision and messaging.
- Strong analytical skills, including market research and competitive analysis.
- Motivation to drive product objectives from concept through completion.
- A desire to continually learn and adapt to changes in the market and technology landscape.
- Hands on experience with iManage products and services.
